ABOUT
Hi! My name is Roberto Torres Jr.
I’m a video producer and visual effects artist based in Austin, Texas. For more than 10 years, I’ve worked in film, animation, VFX, and motion graphics. Creating content for both national brands and local & startup businesses.
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014, and since then I’ve had the opportunity to work inside top creative agencies, take on national brand contract work, and collaborate with local and startup businesses.

Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience in 2D animation, 3D animation, film production, motion graphics, visual effects, and now AI-powered workflows. I’ve used those skills to help produce work connected to brands such as Dell, Mars Wrigley, The Texas Lottery, Visit Austin, Motel 6, Honey Bunches of Oats, and many other brands alike. Every project taught me something new and helped me understand what it really takes to create strong, meaningful visuals.
Today, through Apex Studio Films, I’m bringing all of that experience together to offer clients high-quality, premium video deliverables. My goal is simple: to take everything I’ve learned over the years and use it to help businesses tell their story with clarity, excellence, and creativity.
